Local author Allie Ferington is celebrating the debut of her middle-grade novel The Adventures of Charlie and Sailor: Backyard Treasure with a launch event at Book Culture Pittsford. She will be joined by illustrator Alicia Fairbourn for a read-aloud, Q&A, and art activity followed by a book signing. It is a rare chance for village kids and families to meet the people who made the book happen, right here in Pittsford.
