Fencing Demo with Rochester Fencing Club — Free at Pittsford Library, August 5

The Rochester Fencing Club comes to Pittsford Community Library for a live fencing demonstration. For most kids — and plenty of adults — this is the first chance to see the sport up close: the footwork, the equipment, the surprising speed. It's the kind of afternoon that plants a seed for a future sport. The library keeps finding ways to bring the wider world into our village, and this is one of the more unexpected.
