Guided Hike Along Mitchell Trail — Saturday July 18

There's a particular pleasure in walking a trail you think you know with someone who knows it better. This Saturday, July 18, Pittsford Recreation staff lead a guided hike along a stretch of the Erie Canal Path and the Mitchell Trail — about 2.5 miles of natural-surface trail and pavement, with a little elevation to earn your morning. Along the way they'll talk through the area's ecology, local points of interest, and the recreation opportunities hiding in plain sight in our own backyard.

Register online through the Town's Recreation page, or in person at the Spiegel Community Center, 35 Lincoln Avenue. It's free, but you'll need to sign up ahead — this is a "come meet your neighbors on the towpath" kind of morning, not a drop-in.
