On Monday, June 22, the Town of Pittsford partners with the American Red Cross for a memorial blood drive honoring Nedda Howk — a former Pittsford Recreation employee who gave more than 40 years to blood banking and transfusion medicine. Nedda was beloved at the Spiegel Community Center until her passing in April 2025. Honoring her by giving blood in the place she called home feels right.

Schedule an appointment in advance at www.redcrossblood.org/give.html/find-drive or call 1-800-RED-CROSS. All June donors receive a $15 e-gift card and are entered to win a $7,500 Red Cross prize.
