Every October, The Strong National Museum of Play — the museum where Pittsford families spend Saturday afternoons and rainy school holidays — throws a celebration of what makes play worth protecting. The Play Ball Gala returns on Friday, October 23, from 6 to 10:30 p.m., with Honorary Chairs Dan and Denise Burns and Steve and Jeanne Epping. Proceeds support the museum programs that make The Strong so much more than a building full of toys.
