What's Happening
A Frog House returns to Pittsford on April 26 for the 15th annual Save the Frogs Day — and this year's event is worth making time for. The afternoon runs from A Frog House at 65 State Street down to the Robert C. Corby Arboretum and Wildlife Sanctuary on Village Lane, where Mayor Alysa Plummer and members of the Village Board will join a ribbon-cutting ceremony for the latest improvements to the Arboretum. The program includes an Eagle Scout presentation on a new project, educational activities, refreshments, and a guided scavenger hunt through the Village Arboretum. A Frog House is the non-profit behind the three vernal ponds built in the Arboretum last year — each one a permanent habitat for frogs and other wildlife in the heart of Pittsford.
