Pittsford schools: meals for all, scholars for the record

Two pieces of genuinely good news out of the district this week. Starting September 8, every Pittsford student gets free breakfast and lunch — no forms, no stigma, no exceptions. And separately, 19 of your neighbors' kids just earned National Merit recognition, including two full Scholars.

Starting September 8, 2026, every PCSD student from kindergarten through twelfth grade receives free breakfast and lunch — no application required to get the meals.

Two Pittsford Graduates Named National Merit Scholars — and 17 Neighbors Made Finalist

William Harrington (Mendon) and Weijun Wang (Sutherland) earned National Merit Scholar status from Pittsford's Class of 2026, each receiving a $2,500 scholarship.
