Schoen Place Road Closure for Micro-Paving
A complete road closure from State St to N Main St along Schoen Place will occur to finish micro-paving. This process will start early morning, taking several hours, and affect access for motorists, cyclists, and pedestrians. Businesses may want to delay their opening time due to the closure and plan deliveries accordingly. There will be limited access only from the State St entrance to Northfield Common, allowing vehicles to travel around the back side of Northfield Common to access other areas within Schoen Place. Once complete, there will be fresh painting and striping along both the canal path and roadway as weather allows.

The Monroe Ave bench was temporarily installed at the bus stop by the Little House while the DPW established a more permanent installation plan. The bench will be removed for a period of 7-10 working days while crews prep and finish the site. Once complete, the bench will be reinstalled. As part of the [America 250 Celebration](/pittsford-celebrates-america-250-the-community-cookbook-the-heritage-picnic-and-), the Village is inviting local businesses to sponsor decorative flower baskets throughout the Village. Each basket sponsorship is 00 and includes public recognition as a community supporter. Currently we are accepting sponsorship contributions through June 15.
