- DPW summer hours begin May 1 with early morning Monday–Thursday shifts and a 10am Friday garage close; Village Hall shifts to summer hours starting May 29 with Friday office closings at 1pm
- The E Pluribus Unum Community Picnic returns Sunday June 28, noon to 2pm — watch the Village website for details as they are announced

The Village is giving away free native tree seedlings, shrubs, and seeds from Village Hall today through the end of business. If you missed it, call the Village office the following week to check availability: 585-586-4332.
Schoen Place Bike Safety Jamboree
The following is the announcement as distributed by the Office of Mayor Alysa S. Plummer, Village of Pittsford, April 24, 2026.
A free family bike safety event at Towpath Bike's parking lot on Schoen Place, Saturday May 16 from 9–10am. Free bike bells for kids while supplies last. If you have children under 16 attending, RSVP in advance so the Village can plan for giveaways and materials.
On the Water Again: Canal Navigation Season Opens May 15
The following is the announcement as distributed by the Office of Mayor Alysa S. Plummer, Village of Pittsford, April 24, 2026.
The Erie Canal opens for the season on May 15. The Sam Patch and other boat tour operators will run through mid- to late-October — a full season of lock cruises, guided tours, and on-water programming right here in the Village.
DPW Summer Hours Begin May 1
The following is the announcement as distributed by the Office of Mayor Alysa S. Plummer, Village of Pittsford, April 24, 2026.
DPW shifts to early summer hours starting May 1 — early mornings Monday through Thursday, with the garage closing at 10am on Fridays. Village Hall itself moves to summer hours later, starting May 29 through September 11, with Friday closings at 1pm.
