It is expected the work will be completed that day although, depending on field conditions, the project may continue into the next day.

Childhood Cancer Awareness Month — C.U.R.E. Gold
September is Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, a time to recognize the children and families facing childhood cancer and remind them that their community stands with them.
The [Village Board of Trustees](/events/village-of-pittsford-board-of-trustees-regular-meeting-september-22) approved illuminating Village Hall in gold during the week of September 21 as the Village joins C.U.R.E. Childhood Cancer Association in helping raise awareness by "Showing Our Gold." Gold is the awareness of color for childhood cancer because, just like gold, children are precious. Residents and businesses can also show their support throughout next week in September by finding their own creative way to Show Your Gold. C.U.R.E. reports that in 2025, 61 local children were diagnosed with cancer, five children relapsed, and our community lost five young lives.
